Ingredients Needed
- 12 oz pasta penne or linguine works best
- 4 oz smoked salmon chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make the Recipe
Cook the Pasta: Boil the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
Prepare the Sauce: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Stir in sour cream, Parmesan, and lemon zest, then slowly add reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
Combine: Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce, then gently fold in the smoked salmon. Season with salt and pepper.
