  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or avocado oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos Paleo alternative to soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head of butter or romaine lettuce for wraps

Optional toppings:

  • Diced avocado
  • Shredded carrots
  • Sliced green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, ensuring they stay crisp.
  • Mince the garlic, chop the onion, and dice the bell pepper.

Cook the Ground Turkey:

  • Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, cooking for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt, pepper, ground ginger, and smoked paprika.

Add Vegetables and Sauce:

  • Once the turkey is browned, add the diced bell pepper and stir.
  • Pour in the coconut aminos and mix well, letting the flavors combine. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Assemble the Wraps:

  • Spoon the cooked turkey mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf.
  • Add optional toppings like diced avocado, shredded carrots, or sesame seeds for added texture and flavor.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Fold the lettuce leaves around the filling to form wraps. Serve immediately and enjoy a light yet satisfying Paleo lunch.
